As a Network Marketer I hear a lot of excuses whether I’m recruiting new distributors or simply having a nice conversation about the company I represent. It amazes me how many excuses I get on a daily basis but it never discourages me. I just keep it moving because that’s what successful people do. I thought I heard every excuse in the book but everyday I hear something new. The reason I’m writing this article is to give you my list of excuses I hear daily and give you my rebuttal to them. 11 of them to be exact, so let me know if you have heard these before:

1. Why Should I Join Your Opportunity? Why not join? 45,000 people are joining some type of network marketing business every week trying to escape the job they hate and help better the family financially.

2. Is This A Pyramid? Did you know your job is a pyramid? Let’s see, CEO, SVP, RVP, manager, supervisor, then you…..

3. How Much Money Are You Making? Its really is none of their business but how much of my money can they spend? If I told you how much money I was making you wouldn’t believe me.

4. My Friends And Relatives Tried Network Marketing And Failed. What does that have to do with you? So you’re telling me that if you eat a bad steak you’re going to stop eating steak!

5. I’m Going To Wait And Watch You? Now this is one of the silliest statements in my opinion. Why wait when you can join me?

6. Why Do I Have To Pay Money? What business can you get for free? If you start a business you have to pay for a business license, storage, rent, overhead, and much more. Nothing is free in life.

7. How Much Is It Going To Cost Me? Plenty if you don’t join. How many jobs have you had in the last 5-20 years? What do you have to show for it?

8. I Don’t Have The Money? I love this question; my normal response is if I had a brand new 2011 Benz for sale for $1000 would you find the money then?

9. If I Join, How Much Money Are You Going To Make Off Me? Does it really matter? Your boss is making serious money off you now. The only difference between your job and us is they don’t care about you but we do because we work as a TEAM(together everyone achieves more). If I help you make more money, I make more money!!!

10. What If I Don’t Make Any Money? That’s how broke people think. If you think that way, those are the results you are going to get. The key to success is mindset and taking action.

11. What Is My Guarantee? There is no guarantee. The only thing guaranteed in life is death and taxes.
