Chicken Pot Pie
This comforting and easy Chicken Pot Pie Casserole has all the homemade taste you crave without any of the fuss. Serve this chicken casserole warm and bubblin' out of the oven or make it ahead of time for busy days!
Ingredients:
- 4 cups cubed chicken cooked
- 2/3 cup butter
- 2/3 cup flour
- 1 1/3 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 of medium onion
- 2 celery stocks
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 12 oz frozen bag of mixed carrot and peas (no need to thaw)
- 1 can of refrigerated biscuits (I peeled them in half so they were a little thinner, they also cook better when halved)
- In medium pot mix celery, onion, and butter til butter melts, add salt, pepper and Italian seasoning.
- Add flour and mix together, will form a paste
- then add chicken broth, frozen veggies, and chicken mix all together
- Place mixture in a baking dish. Place biscuits on top and bake at 375 degrees for 10-15 minutes
